Rest for our souls doesn’t always mean a rested up body. It’s going to be increasing important we don’t allow feelings to dictate truth. Matt 11:29
Abide: effortless resting in the Lord, confident in the union with Him.
If we can’t take the heat of criticism, I don’t know how we can properly handle the zeal of victory. He’s either worth it to us or He isn’t.
Criticism is not wasted on us but the refining of us. In the face of it, let the Holy Spirit show you what God made you of.
Never work harder in a friendship than you do in your marriage. If that’s what the friendship takes to survive, it might be time for a breakup
Friendships are a gift not an ownership. Enjoy the gift of it… flee from ownership because it always goes array at some point

It takes tenacity to take word vomit and line it up with Scripture. It takes guts to be cross- trained verse culture- trained. It takes audacity to live your God- given calling.
The thing about repentance is that it’s not up to the “victim” but the Savior. He gives it if the offender asks (John 14: 14). The “victim’s” response doesn’t dictate the offender’s forgiveness. We must be careful of the rights we give flesh. We are all in need of a Savior: “victim” and “offender”
Isaiah 30: 15 In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength (NIV).
